EA FC 25, unplayable game.

To OP, 

I agree with so much. I too work for a tech company and we could never allow our product(s) to fail so poorly and not listen to our users. I have been saying for years that it’s just disgusting how the product teams at EA act like there’s not a problem when most of us in the tech world have to respond in a matter of hours to product issues/bugs, not just outages etc. 

how in the world EA thought it was smart to introduce more AI into a competitive simulation baffles me. Add AI where it’s needed but don’t overload the gameplay with it to the point where no one is in control of anything but the ever changing “meta” 

offense now is entirely dependent on your “connection” and whether or not you have the favor. Play styles, roles, ratings only seem to matter once in every 5 games. I can still play with a gold squad on 0 chem with players out of position and still get wins after I lose a few. Years past I could do this every game and if I played right, I could go on some 10 win + streaks. 
defense feels like we are so out of control over what our players do. I just hope and pray every game. Whether I can make a clean tackle or interception Im perfectly positioned for is completely decided by the AI. 
every few games it feels like the AI take over to make the games closer. And the devs have said that is tactics and all the other stuff but I don’t buy it. If I change my tactics to compensate things will still go sideways. 
to anyone, try playing a safe, possession or defense based gameplay and watch how it just won’t work. You can have all the control in the world and still lose to one finesse trivela on a strikers weak foot from 30 yards out… that’s the issue here
