All I can see on these forums is them responding specifically to the fact that people were unable to get the pack from the 15 Champs played objective because hundreds (probably thousands, if we consider how many are complaining in here and social media generally) of people had the servers crash/boot them out on completion.
This then didn't count as a game played on the objective, but did count as a game played within the Champs tab, so it locked them out of getting the 15 games played. It happened to some people so many times it meant they missed out on realistic chances of getting that TotS card tied to 10 wins (Nico Williams?) or other win x games rewards.
There has not been any admission for more general server issues. In that thread about Champs they have said they'll give compensation, which they've also echoed on Twitter. There seems to be nothing on the EASFC Tracker about the server issues either. So, what they have committed to publicly is not resolving or investigating server issues, but sending players the reward packs they should have got.
That's it from what I can see. Any other interpretation either comes from another thread that I'm not finding with the search function, though I will look again when I'm on PC, or a misunderstanding of the specific incident that is being discussed.
