In previous games there were 1 or 2 O.P. mechanics like over the top through balls or headers from corners. This one, cheap mechanics just permeate all through it. Attackers that get tackled, freeze and glide back into you, to A.I. defenders tackling you & winning the ball back for the opponent, to ridiculous regains from the press, to slow passing movements, to whatever box of gimmicks, gimmicky OP play style they buff any given patch..
I hate playing this pathetic game because no matter how good I get at it, what players I get, eve week I get the same outcomes. It's not losing the obvious games that bother me, it's these ones where I'm completely on top of the game & "something" happens beyond my control that costs me, something some blatantly obvious wrong that it just makes you want to never play this glitchy, buggy, flimsy, fake football game. I get no enjoyment out of any of it because I'm not playing against a person, I'm fighting against the game itself game in, game out.
Half the time you're just playing against Ai, or pushing your players through **bleep** animations.
I genuinely think that the next game will have OP AI attackers that will auto shoot for you. I think that EA want to get to a point where meta cards will literally win the game for you. It's already bad enough that you can't compete at a high level with low end cards. You should be able to win with a gold rated team at a high level, if you are skilled enough.
Next game they stop releasing the Mini bugged football game behind their casino game and just focus on casino and gambling addiction. That's all they care for.
No next game, is already like this. Why you think people are starting to use cheat. Is the only way to use low card and have decent pass and shoot.
You can see on corner training how they can manipulate the outcome of any header(80% going in random direction). The same principle is applied on pass , shot, tackle, pace when you play against high rated card. Skills is optional on this game.
They'll use the same gas lighting marketing technique to try to convince people that it's different and it'll end up being the same game with the same team behind it who don't have a clue how to fix any of the problems that are in the game and all year you'll get patches nerfing the attack into the ground whilst buffing auto-defending to OP levels.
This'll push people into playing this linear style these "Pro's" enjoy but very few normal players do. I think I'm done with this game, if they don't radically improve it, I'm out. This years game is one of the worst games I've ever played, I can barely stomach playing more than 3 games at a time before I just turn the console off in disgust. I'm sick of the patches as well. Shooting this week feels like it's been nerfed so now every one is just spamming low driven plus because the GK's aren't built to dealt with this particular shot so they just roll straight through the keepers hands. I've just had it. They've destroyed every aspect of this game from gameplay to SBC's to making it a rewardable grind to tactics, I can't name 1 thing positive about it.
The matches all feel the same to the point where I can't distinguish who's even good or great at this game because of this universal high pressure that everyone uses. Same gameplay over and over and over to get worthless cards that don't even play properly or feel special or really add anything to your team. Grind an Evo the same player will a promo card the following week that smokes the card you took 20 games to get.
The gameplay is sweatier than the most sweatiest Fifa you can think of x100 to the point where matches are won & lost based as on flukey rebounds, weird player switching, an animation that doesn't even make sense. How many goals do you concede where you sit back and go wow what a goal? Literally none because practically every goal is the exact same as the last.
