True, but overall, what we want is fun gameplay. At the same time, it feels like all the passion and freshness of the game has been completely drained in FC 25 — especially since there are always updates that mess with the gameplay in a repetitive routine: decreasing crossing accuracy, increasing crossing accuracy, reducing shooting accuracy, increasing shooting accuracy — including headers and bicycle kicks — reducing passing speed, increasing passing speed, and so on.
If this pattern continues, the game will become generally boring.
I don’t think even a month or two will pass without this kind of tweaking happening again and again.
It might be tolerable for a short while, but eventually it’ll start to annoy us again. And I don’t think the company has anything else to offer besides these tweaks the devs keep working on — they’ll find themselves in a tough spot in the future.
That’s why they need to start working now on something completely new. They don’t necessarily have to change the whole game, but they must add new modes to refresh the experience — modes like FIFA Street, or a small open world, or any other cool, creative ideas. They have to do it, because if the series keeps going the same usual way, players will gradually get bored in the end. There's just nothing new or diverse enough in the gameplay. I still think the Rush mode is very bad and not fun at all — there must be new things added in the future.
Lastly, there’s one small thing I noticed in the FC 26 screenshots — did anyone else notice Jude Bellingham’s socks? That’s actually one of the suggestions it seems EA has listened to.
So credit where it’s due — great job so far, EA.

its not anymore about fun gameplay, is about fair gameplay.
i play since fifa 98, my first video game was prince of persia on a Amstrad PC(i used to save game data on cassette, cassette are even older than floppy disc and most of you have no idea what im talking about).
All this years of gaming and i never sow a game that doesnt allow you to do what you want like this couple of years.
i have not tried other sports game, but i really hope they don’t have the same experience we have with football game.
i would rather simulate the entire match without playng than have my decision making cancelled just because the game decided for me.
people prefer open card than actual playing the game, how worst can a video game sound? turning on a game to actually not play the game.

My first Fifa was in 98 as well. I started playing football games on an old Commodore, the floppy was jammed in, it was the only game you could play on that thing. Graphics were so crappy, but it was fun! At least you could rely that the pass was given when you pushed the button.
Never ever did I experience anything like this piece of junk. In what universe do you see a striker standing in front of an open goal, who starts thinking like: "Oh wait, I'm right footed but the pass was given to my left foot. Now, what should I do? Try to control it with my left foot and then try to shoot it with my right one? Hmmm, let me think for a sec...", and meanwhile the ball rolls over the side line... All he had to do was to stretch out a toe to score.
It's just one of the many many bugs in this game which could have been avoided with just a little bit of proper testing. I used to write code for a while during my career, and to me, this is one of the biggest mistakes you can actually make as a developer: releasing something without properly testing what you write. Shows very much the level of what we are dealing with. These people are just not fit for the job.
The things that come out now, EA finally admitting that they were wrong, it makes me so furious. They are f***ckn testing for 6(!) years now to find out more about the lags in the game, and all this time, they were lying and cheating about it, only to try to make as much profit as possible, knowing there was something wrong with the game.
Make no mistake, people. It's not out of compassion or because they care about their customers that they are releasing the "We listened to you and are gonna improve the gameplay"-BS. It is because the sales results of FC 25 that were released in January were so dramatically bad, that they finally decided to do something about it. They knew all along what to do, people just kept on buying.
