FC24 Points to FC25

Hello!

I've recently been given a Code for FC points as a gift, unfortunately they're FC24 points - I've already played a lot of and spent money on FC25 and I'm unsure if I can transfer my points now from FC24 to FC25. Is there anyway to work around this or am I completely screwed and can't use those points any more? It's 12000 points so I would really like to be able to use them on the new game ☹️
