- @GSM350 This could be I dunno I don’t have delay so doesn’t seem like it.
The point is the op and not just him have been going on about servers not offline delay.
I don’t buy into everything youtubers say as the video pointed out they are in it for the money so take their opinion with a grain of salt.
Anytime a youtuber makes a video about server delay you hear about it.
Now every one is saying servers have no delay and they are fine. This is a big deal and change of heart for them. Saying this also goes against them making money. It’s a very strange stance for them to take now.
This is good news for the op though as he has used their videos to say the server had delay. Now he doesn’t have to worry about it as seems servers are actually fine. I dunno. It’s a good topic that needs brought to light. Why the sudden change in so many of their opinions. Very strange them agreeing with ea all within a few weeks. - @RadioShaqs Yeah it is strange, maybe there really are issues in some servers around the world but EA decided it was cheaper to payoff and bribe the youtubers than actually fixing the servers lol.
I'm not sure exactly where the issues are technically but in some instances the game is an unplayable mess and SO inconsistent - @GSM350 You think ea bribed them? That’s a weird take on it. So you still think servers are broken?
- @RadioShaqs No it was just a joke, I'm not sure what others are experiencing but for me personally the delay seems to be in the game both offline and online, which when playing online could easily be mistaken for server issues. But when the game does finally respond to my controls (after a short delay) the response between the two controller overlays seems in sync.
All I can say is that based on my experience in NA on Xbox S/X and PS5 I have more delay at 1pm than I would at 1am. I do everything I can to ensure a stable connection while gaming no matter the time of day. I notice this when I'm playing FUT, Career, Clubs and Seasons. From what I can tell This happens on PC much less. Maybe that could be from the amount of people on that platform or the hardware running the game.
As for offline I have always been an avid career mode player ever since FIFA 09 and it even got me interested in trying the FM series. The offline gameplay in recent years has definitely matched whatever is happening in the gameplay online right down to delay in the commands and the random bounces that keep happening until I concede. Experiencing these issues are what forced me to give up and not buy the game.

I know you wanted more servers and are really far from a server. Do you think they are wrong and the servers are really the issue? - @lansenyl there is big input delay on PC also! Maybe not only if you live really close to server. Maybe. But in official user agreement of this game there is no any straight wording that says you can only have comfortable gameplay only if you are close to server. If they can`t provide it for most of customers they must tell about it in user agreement absolutely clear.

- @RadioShaqs I obviously don't speak for everyone when it comes to the servers and the gameplay, and I can only judge what I'm able to see and play myself.
I can only assume that distance to a server is a factor.
The data for this could easily come from a simple survey sent out to an equal amount of players in the general location of a server and players that live a considerable distance from their nearest server. This test should also be done for each region and not the player base as a whole.
This is probably the best way to find out if the servers are a part of the problem.
I also believe that the Frostbite game engine is a big problem. The game just hasn't felt right ever since they started using it. Playing slow clunky unenjoyable gameplay, for a guy to level 1-1 with his only shot of the game in the 85th minute to then quit and you get 0 points. Truly the FC experience. Poorly designed game from top to bottom. Play with the same 11 as everyone else or lose.
