Feedback on Fifa online
Dear EA Sports FC Team,
I wanted to share some feedback regarding the current matchmaking system in FC 25, particularly the overwhelming use of Real Madrid in online play. Many players, including myself, have noticed that a large percentage of opponents choose Real Madrid due to its high player ratings and overall dominance, making matches feel repetitive and unbalanced. This is leading to frustration, and I’m seeing some players stop playing altogether.
To address this issue, I suggest implementing a weighted points system in online competitive modes. This system would adjust the points awarded based on the team’s overall strength—stronger teams like Real Madrid would earn fewer points per win, while lower-rated teams would earn more. This approach could:
- Encourage players to use their favorite teams rather than simply choosing the highest-rated ones.
- Increase variety in online matches, making the experience more engaging and less predictable.
- Make matchmaking more balanced by rewarding skill rather than just picking the best team.
- Keep players engaged by reducing frustration and discouraging repetitive matchups.
Right now, I’m already noticing that some players are losing interest in the game because they keep facing the same overpowered teams. Introducing a weighted system could help bring back variety and keep the player base active.
I believe this change would greatly improve the fairness and enjoyment of online gameplay.
