That's what I thought but I tried playing a single player game and it looks speed up as well.
I read the patch notes as well and found nothing and that's why it looks weird.
Probably some backend changes that they don't tell us
@kefalas3 I doubt that people have been complaining it to slow so speeding it up would make a lot happy.
