I agree somewhat.

Take the issue with the weekly play objective, we posted, got told they were aware of the problem but nothing got done, nobody got the reward for completing the objective.

There are multiple reasons we wouldn't get answers, but essentially it comes down to the fact that if devs came in here they would get abused by the majority that just hide behind their keyboards. So instead they send in community managers, they don't actually have any answers and we know it, but they are only a community manager it's just their job to monitor the boards and essentially moderate them. So we are more understanding that it is just their position. But god forbid that they actually have some devs that can private message people that are clearly of a more intellectual position and just want to talk about the issues facing the game. Instead community managers just play the role of messenger, and we all know the saying around messengers.
