@RadioShaqs There is no problem with crossing. It‘s all about heading the ball. I agree with @1p5psman.It was already pretty difficult so score with headers in EA FC 24 and Fifa 23. But I have never experienced something like this. In EA FC 25, players (even those with decent jumping, heading accuracy and size) seem to have lost all sense of how to head a ball. Most of the time, my striker doesn‘t get close to the ball at all, because the CPU defender is always slightly quicker or better positioned. If that‘s not the case, my striker heads the ball downwards so that it bounces off the ground, or heads it with minimal force in a random direction. It‘s crazy.The last time heading was a viable scoring option was Fifa 18. That was a real football simulation, as you could score via multiple ways.

I agree, like man, I think it’s easier to score a bicycle kick than a header in fc25. You can literally have an empty net and when you try to head it in it goes over or he sends in to the corner flag.

Now that EA have ruined headers surely there is no point in seeking out tall strikers with power headers and Aerial ability and that makes me wonder why i would try a formation that uses wingers that aren't inside forwards. I want to break down defences by what ever means possible and going through the middle gets boring.after a while. So i look for a new formation will open things up a bit but sadly a target striker in the traditional sense just doesn't work. So i am left disengaed with the game that i love for lots of other reasons including the player roles and changes this season. Please fix headers EA please please please

@1p5psman Yep headers are dead. Corners are completely pointless at the moment for me. Can’t connect with anything and when I do, it’s super slow or straight into the ground. What a joke

@1p5psmanI have the same problem, but from corners, too. Started a career from three seasons and scored only 2/3 goals using head from corners and none in other situations: every time the ball goes neither near the post, it jumps in a completely random direction even if I direct it (with or without helps). In FC24 I used to score frequently from corners and now my tactics are gone.As now it’s impossible to score from corners, my defenders overall is encreasing very slow comparing not only to the past FIFAs, but to the earlier version of FC25.For sure EA will fix this problem in the next update because it’s truly ridiculous.

Please take note of this and fix this Issue. Right now the game is really boring knowing that there is no option to score a goal with the Head. Can you guys fix this in next days in a live update? So we don’t have to wait until the next update. PLEASE!!!

Now when all other ways of scoring is much easier after patch. PLEASE fix heading.

This is laughable as it is now.

Playing career is really boring when strong tall strikers are useless.

Career mode has become so boring because of this change. What makes it even worse is that heading is a core part of football gameplay. At the very least, test these patches before releasing them!
I think this issue started after Title Update 7. I get that the nerf was aimed at FUT, but now heading is completely broken in career mode. What's the point of signing a strong striker, taking corners, or crossing if headers don’t even work?
Reddit and FC 25 forums are full of players complaining about this issue. I really hope it gets patched soon because it’s making me and other career mode fans put the game down.

Everyone know that it’s impossible to score using your head in real life, and possibly illegal. I applaud this moves by the devs, in a good football game there should only be one way to score, a through ball to the striker. Don’t overcomplicate matters with headers and crosses and other nonsense. Next you will be suggesting central defenders try to defend, instead of running away.

Left a comment about this 2 months ago, one of the admins,EA_Pulsar i think said he’d pass it on. Obviously nothing changed cos it rarely does.
The next game will be built around “amazing new heading techniques” or something to make it look like a good thing for a new game instead of just fixing something that’s broken.

Do the dev team at ea sports even listen to their customers feedback on this issue or is it they don’t care..,
it is a joke that it’s now virtually impossible to score headers from corners . What were you thinking creating a version making it so difficult ?!
I scored lots in fc24 from corners and that’s how it should be as it’s an important part of the game
might have to go back to that version which is a shame as there are some good improvements overall in fc25. But this issue with headers at corners just totally ruins the whole experience for me
you need to listen to your customers ea and stop being so arrogant !!

What are the chances they will fix this major issue for fc26 ?
does anyone know.. no point wasting money again on the next version if it’s easier to win the lottery than score a header at a corner!
