Help in progressing

I’m currently in division 5 sitting on the last flag. I’ve done well upto this point. I win a game come off flag to the next point. But in the next game I will lose and go back to flag.  But in the games when I come off the flag my players are not passing like they have been in other games. They seem to be now slower to get to balls and when my players goto shoot their seems to be a delay giving defenders a chance to get on top of me. As soon as I go back to flag everything ok and I get a win.  Has any one got any tips to help me progress.
