High ping on FC25 in Canada

I've just bought FC25 for PS5 and I'm unable to play online because of high ping and jitters. The game lags and speeds up every 10 seconds. I have not faced this issue with other games that I play on...

The reason you're lagging looks to be due to being on a wireless connection. Can you switch to a wire or is your router too far away?

What a terrible answer. Wireless or wired has little effect on ping being based on physical distance. Maybe EA should provide a datacenter in Toronto and hire community managers who have some semblance of a brain.
