I keep playing bots in Rivals

I like playing rivals (division 4 right now) but the last few weeks I keep playing against people who let their computer play in a certain way so that they can make coins (thats my guess) .They only run in straight lines and it is really easy to  defeat them but that isn't fun. It takes ages until free kicks etc are taken. In other words this ruins my fun at playing Rivals and I feel EA should make sure this isn't possible. 

Any one else with this complaint and or a way to fix this? I play on PS5 and have already switches cross play off but I still have the problem.
