I had a long break from when I played fifa 22 to fc 25. I even went back to fifa 22 to check it out due to the fact keepers in 25 are shocking. I rarely see them make a save and im constantly having games that passes 10 goals a game. My last game was 9-7. Honestly im shocked to see a keeper diving backwards to save a shot. Are keepers avoiding the ball?? Press shoot in the box and the ball is 90% a goal. Ea what have you done to keepers?????
Louis1210 keepers are really bad. They said there will be improvement though, so maybe it will be different next time,

Not just keepers. How players overall move around is a real joke. I see defenders constantly jump away instead of trying to block a pass, or even duck. Playing a low defense line is impossible, since no matter what formation or setting you choose, your defense line is always camping somewhere in between the middle line and your 16m line, and while the other team is attacking, your defenders will run in any direction but following attackers.
On the other hand, when you don't just kick the ball forward, but instead try to play football as a team sport (i.e: like REAL football), you will notice that midfielders and attackers don't instinctively try to free themselves, but even hide behind opponents.
All this, combined with the lags,button irresponsiveness and weird bugs make instinctive and fluid gameplay virtually impossible
Honestly what do you call this in gaming? Is this even legal practice? How can you just say this is abosloutly fine. It creates nothing but rage!
Believe it or not there are some people that like keepers being like this. They would rather have easy goals than keepers that do their jobs, it's like people believe that keepers should just be there for show in the game.
I've complained on here a few times about the state of keepers, and I'm glad to see that they are getting a buff. It's the right thing for the game, especially to help reduce some of these ridiculous score lines.
In fifa 19 or 20 I played a match, 8 minutes per half, had 53 shots, 48 on target and 2 goals against Man U on the highest difficulty, (may have been legendary back then). It was frustrating, but it was better, and the goals felt more rewarding. That's just a long way of saying I'm not one of those who likes poor keeping for easy scoring. I just want my goalkeeper to be just as good as the opponent's.

Whilst I do worry that in some games one keeper is clearly superior to the other, even when they are the same keeper. I'm more worried about the fact that they are as bad as they are consistently. My keeper won't save 90% of shots he faces in 90% of the games I play even right next to them sometimes, that's just ridiculous in my eyes. That's with 98 Konate or Buffon in goal, it's not like I haven't been through the game to get a good goalkeeper. Currently keepers are programmed to be bad, and that should never be the case.
That's why I'm so glad that they are doing some work to keepers. Playing for as many years as I have, I have played all of the most broken keepers OP or not, but I can't think of any I have seen that have been this bad. It's consistently gone downhill in the last 2 or 3 years.
I've seen people say that goalkeepers are just crutches for bad players, which is convenient because they are the last line of defence. In 90% of good shooting situations if you don't beat the keeper that should be on you, not because they are programmed to a competent level, but most people are afraid to admit fault in their own abilities.
