@TheFeves @TheFeves This is not a covert exploit you are attempting to justify - it is blatant false advertising. Your so-called "legal background" seems questionable, so allow me to clarify. False advertising occurs when a company makes misleading claims about its product, deceiving consumers into believing they are receiving something they are not. In this instance, EA advertised an "Icon 86+" in the pack description. You are correct that the term "hero" was included in the title, but that word doesn't mean anything, it means just as much as whatever they call the pack, legally, what matters is whether the advertised claims are fulfilled. The advertisement promised an "Icon 86+" with no explicit information indicating that players would receive a hero. You are conflating two entirely different issues. An exploit refers to taking advantage of a flaw or loophole in a system, which is not the case here. An example of an exploit would be if there was a bug that let you buy every pack for free, or a bug that let you buy someone from the transfer market without spending coins. So you are conflating two entirely different issues.
Instead of presenting irrelevant points and misusing your so-called "legal expertise," focus on addressing the actual problem. I understand that you might be upset because you did not receive your rival's rewards, and that is a valid concern as well. But please, do not oppose simply because you are not directly involved. That's childish.

@TheRTG6654 This is actually funny you say that. So the biggest part of false advertisement isn’t being met here. There are PLENTY of people who have shown that they’ve changed their language to Dutch to buy this store pack. Meaning it no longer counts as false advertising since you would have to go out your way to change the langue from your primary one, to one you do not speak. You cannot purposely go out of your way to make something false advertising. So this would be an exploit - use (a situation or person) in an unfair or selfish way.
Now False advertising is the act of intentionally or recklessly spreading false or misleading information about a product or service to promote its sale.
Obviously it wasn’t intentional and it definitely wasn’t reckless as it was a typo. If you are going to use definitions don’t cherry pick. Unless you live in the Netherlands or have your game on Dutch there is no reason for you a native English speaker to have been on that language in the store at the exact time of the type unless you were trying to exploit the mistake.
Of course you can question my legal background, but the fact stands that this issue is a self created problem from the community. Now I for one don’t like EA as of recent but these forced compensation events have to stop. Main person to look at is always going to be Nate ruin everyone’s credibility with this claim from his actions. If you all get your packs I say congratulations to you but in the world of freedom of speech I just like you have the right to criticize a situation.

- 2 years ago@TheFeves Seems like i couldn't make it enough clear to you about the differences between false advertisement and exploits. Your facts are wrong.
And english is not my native language. I took a lot of languages classes, which i got good grades in. I take it as a compliment.
