New stadiums

Hi EA, I'm aware that you've added Blackburn, Coventry and Bristols stadiums to the new game, which is great, I think that leaves only a few teams in championship without an authentic stadium.

Preston North End are one of the founding members of the English football league and I feel it is such a shame not to have the stadium in the game, Deepdale is one of the oldest of all the grounds in England.

Adding the founding members of the Football League would also be a great opportunity for yourselves to promote this amazing new addition of these historical football stadiums.

Thanka in advance

Notts County (Meadow Lane) and Sheffield Wednesday (Hillsborough) like this post.  😉

  • I'm most excited about the new stadiums in the championship (Blackburn, Coventry and Bristol) but how come the Ipswich stadium, which is in the premier league, isn't available at the start.

@kucera9104 The fact Ipswich aren’t there at launch, suggests to me that the 3 clubs were chosen months before the end of the season or even scanned in 22/23 when Ipswich were still in League 1. They appear to have chosen them alphabetically but Birmingham were in the Championship last year and would trump all 3 alphabetically. This potentially means they’ve been scanned but not added because of their relegation.

I think Birmingham could well be added next season if they’re promoted back into the league.

I also think Oxford will not be added in FC26 because the club have to leave the stadium in May 26 and it would seem pointless to add a stadium for one year.

If the scans were based on 22/23, then presumably Millwall and Preston are most likely to be added next season with a promoted Birmingham.

If it was done in 23/24, then Birmingham, Millwall and Plymouth might be the most likely, or if Birmingham don’t get promoted, Millwall, Plymouth and Preston if they all survive this season.

If they will just do it alphabetically then Derby, Millwall and Plymouth would currently be in line, but these clubs could be trumped by Birmingham, Bolton, Barnsley or Charlton if any of them are promoted.

Personally, if I was betting, I think the most likely to be added are Milwall, Birmingham and Preston as I think Plymouth will probably end up being relegated, Oxford will be skipped and Derby will be added the year after.

Worst of all I’m a Sheffield Wednesday fan so we’re right at the back of the list if they keep doing it alphabetically, and are best hope is FC27.
