Not worth the time!

Question

EA, you need to know that Ultimate Team rewards absolutely suck!

I slog it out in Rush to get the 70,000 points (becomes ridiculously boring around 40,000) and all the packs only to get NO special or promo cards! So that's definitely not worth the time.

I get the upgraded rewards for Rivals for Div 6 (a real hard slog for me taking days) for all the packs only to get NO special or promo cards and a crap mastery card! So that's definitely not worth the time.

I get as high as I can in Squad Battles (which is a nightmare for me on World Class and Professional) only to get NO special or promo cards and a crap mastery card! So that's definitely not worth the time.

Where is the incentive to play this game? The rewards are TERRIBLE and not worth the dozens of hours it takes to get them

Your business plan is obviously making you extremely rich, don't give any decent rewards in earned packs and frustrate the living crap out of your customers to push them towards spending real money for packs.

@GSM350 They need to tone down the rewards. The reason nobody is worth anything is they are just throwing packs at us. Right now rares and commons don’t even sell on the market at discard price.

So I'm torn, here. Part of me asks "What's wrong with playing a video game just to play?" But I recognize that the drive for "rewards" is what drives the microtransaction economy they've carefully developed. And those two systems can't coexist - if people just play to have fun, they won't spend.

I don't know the solution, but I do know that I haven't finished a season path yet in FC25 (and I've always finished them in the past), and I've found that I really don't care. Life has been perfectly fine as I play exactly how much I want. I have a job, I don't need another one hiding in my console.

EA is not going to change in the short run. They'll only change if people start spending their time elsewhere. Not worth the time? Do something that is.

No, I'm finally done playing UT I'm just handicapped way to high because I can't use the right stick to control the keeper.

My opponents score 99% of their shots and if the shot is taken just inside the box running in from the corner they score 100% of the time. My keeper just stands still and makes absolutely no attempt to save the ball at all. But if I make the same shot my opponent just moves the keeper slightly and they dive to make the save.

Especially in champs and Div 6 and above, almost everyone is moving the keeper.

Usually gaming is a good distraction from my crappy disabled existence but this is the first game that's managed to make me feel even worse about myself lol. Time to quit and go try God of War 2 or Ghost of Tsushima
