@blue166 That’s the thing right now people are just smashing buttons and expecting it to go where they want. Non manual offense doesn’t do that. People say they want more control but I agree with you they really don’t or they would be pushing for manual.
This is why we always have an imbalance of overpowered offense. I mean if they could just hit pass and have it ping pong around they would. I mean it’s basically does that anyway.

How many games end 0-0 very few? How many games go with a couple shots on goal very few? Ea needs to help defense.

@RadioShaqs I don't use team mate contain, jockey, I put tackles in myself. And I'm rarely getting thrashed. The games have mostly been 1-1, 0-0, 1-0 with an occasional 4 -1 or 3-1 against me on my secondary account.

It's mostly high press from the front, low block goal keeper moving at the back with A.I. mopping up every attempted pass, wingers bulldozing DM's, tackle spammers, insane marking, defenders outrunning attackers/chips over the top etc.

- @Tauntmatt Well yeah people are forced to play meta defense to stop all the attacking. Defense is either all or nothing. You have to high press or drop everyone back because you can’t stop the offense. You just can’t keep up with the offense.
- @RadioShaqs Their not controlling anything it's the computer. And the easiest way to score is high press on the backline. Have some pacy winger sprint full speed into your CB, get the bobbling ball or some lucky rebound. As I said before nearly every "attack" is due to some defensive action. Not any form of build up play.
- @Tauntmatt Anybody good is switching between 3-4 defenders at a time. I mean look at what anders has to do on defense. That’s not a good excuse to not make offense be manual and take skill.
It’s just like what someone brought up in another thread. In the pro scene they need to remove 5atb. Probably even meant in the regular game.
I am surprised ea hasn’t done this because then nobody will be able to defend and games will be even higher scoring.
High scoring games and broken offense is what sells games and makes the pro scene fun to watch. Not for me but that’s why they do it.
Nobody goes look anders switched between 4 defenders and anticipated his defense. It’s about he did 14 balls rolls speed boosts flip flaps trivelas ping ponged the ball across the field.
