You can also go coop so you can see more of the field so you can swap sides. The only downside is it will be harder to do speed boosts and flip flaps.
The key to pressure is doing it before your opponent passes. An example would be pinch in with your mid cdm and striker by switching between them. Then intercept the pass by switching to your cb while second man pressing the passer.
Like I said Anders breaks this down in his videos if you want a more detailed explanation. The trick is knowing when to switch to the cb to pull him out of position for the interception. You do this wrong and it’s going to be an easy goal. They will do a speed boost or flip flap and it’s off to a 1 on 1 with the goal keeper.
This is why you will often see him get beaten and drag out the keeper in a weird way to try to confuse the attacker into messing up the shot.
When it works it often times leads to a goal the other way. More times than not you can win the ball up high.
