Only kills it for "one season" career mode players though, doesn't it?

If one plays a little further into the game, it really doesn't matter, if a player is on loan in season one. At least now we know these players won't be transferred during the first January window, where I believe an excessive amount of transfers are often made. Now we know the expiration date of the loan and are able to plan a move for the player.

@JustinCase0110 Yep, the loans are not the problem. But, as you said, the amount of transfers done within the first two/three transfer windows has been crazy for so many years now, makes rival teams unrecognizable after 1 or two years.

Anyways, I am really looking forward to getting even more starheads. I need Mainka and Maloney to start a Heidenheim career for example🙂 Ipswich Town will also make up a fun option, since they should be almost fully scanned. Really enjoy those underdog teams haha

So with the confirmation of Bristol City’s Ashton Gate which all but confirms Blackburn’s Ewood Park and Coventry’s CBS Arena, there will only be 6 Championship stadiums missing.

So as well as praying for clubs to be promoted to the Premier League to get their stadium and players scanned, we now will be hoping they survive the Championship for the next few seasons and that clubs without stadiums get promoted from League 1 to get their stadiums scanned.

A few things to note:

- I do not believe Oxford’s stadium will make the game until they move to the new stadium as their contract to play at the Kassam runs out at the end of 25/26. It may mean whoever they ground share with for a season or two might end up with their stadium in the game (MK Dons, Reading, Wycombe most likely)

- Birmingham City fans must be particularly frustrated as surely their St Andrews would have been in the game had they survived last season.

- Will clubs like Birmingham, Bolton, Barnsley and Charlton usurp the clubs lower down the alphabet if they are promoted? I hope not as a Wednesday fan. 

- Will Portsmouth get rescanned out of this eventually as the ground is the only current one that has been updated since it was scanned?

- Will League 1 start to get scanned once the Championship is complete? 

- Are EA sitting on other stadium scans that they will drip feed over the next few years?

- Will the Spanish Segunda and German Bundesliga 2 have similar things happen in their 2nd tiers?

- Will the French Ligue 1 continue to have 1 new stadium a year. Are all or many more already scanned and just waiting for their turn to be added? Surely Nice, Monaco or Rennes will be next.

I get it - used to feel the same way. Started career modes with a lot of ideas and signed maybe 10 players in the first season. Often young players with a huge potential. But then the save already started to feel a bit finished with no more exciting transfers for future seasons. And then there's nothing else to do than start over with a new club.

Since then I've started to limit myself to 4-5 transfers per season, give or take, some of them also shortsighted deals for experienced players or loan deals. This enhances the duration of my saves greatly, and I always keep some business ahead of me. That's also why a player out on loan isn't a problem for me, cause I can just sign him in the next window or the one after that, if his profile/price etc is a good fit.

In my opinion Career Mode peaks around season 4 or 5, where most of the squad have been replaced by my doing, combined with my first youth players finding their way into the rotation.

In my experience, this is mostly a concern in the big leagues. The Premier League, for instance, teams are almost unrecognizable after one or two seasons, as you say.

But I've also tried to play in the Danish league (which I'm familiar with as a Dane), and the transfer movements are significantly limited compared to the big leagues. 4, 5 or 6 seasons in, many teams were still pretty similar to the default. If only these leagues also had a second tier. It always frustrates me to play consecutive seasons with no new clubs promoted into the league.

I’d rather they focus on giving France and Italy more than 2 or 5 stadiums in their league, rather than scanning the 37th stadium in England 😂

He went before the winterbreak to Brentfort  for his transfer.

Yeah that's what Cranium is.. Better looking Generic faces! But some will be great and some will still be bad..

He only joined Brentford after July 1st so unless he's been Scanned this Summer and added to the game already, which is unlikely as EA are still sat on held back Scans from 2 years ago! Then it's a good Cranium.. And a good example!

Long time no see. It's RollsReus from the previous forum. Sad to see that the forums were nuked for this catastrophe. I've not been checking here but saw some news from twitter that there's a bunch of new faces, but I haven't played since fifa 22.

Honestly, I've only accessed it via phone but feels like it's regressed back 15 years. A bit embarrassing, I thought they were looking to update the quality. Really not worth nuking the forums for this.

I've not saw too much. I plan to buy it and kind of find these things out for myself, but I know they've done a fair bit of scanning in the two editions I've missed. What's your thoughts?

Trying to wrap my head around this cranium thing I heard for EA FC 25 — will we be able to import and change stadiums as well or? For example I like AFC Wimbledon.  Since they have a generic - would cranium allow me to import the pictures of Plough Lane and change up the generic? I like the idea around the players — especially for my Portsmouth career mode.  Thanks all!

I don’t think so, not the way I read it anyway. I think EA are the ones that import images for players don’t think this is something we can do ourselves.

as for stadiums there was an article to say they are using AI for faster way to create stadiums but again think this is for them not for us. 

Feel like there a is a bit of a EA curse. they scan leagues and then loads of those players go and sign for teams in other leagues. And sadly some teams out of the game. bondogba at Cadiz and babic at almeria last year. Lazario left almeria too for Brazil.
