The current system also (although I'm pretty sure it's not the intent) encourages and rewards hackers and cheaters, who would have nothing to gain if everyone was on a more level playing field in terms of rewards.
And I just don't think it's very fan friendly to do these things with clear fan favorite (in real life) players, making them unattainable for so many of their supporters.

Doesn't matter, I played to 6 wins in champs, got 2 93+ laliga tots picks and got junk, got junk out of the 93+ x 5 laliga, got junk out of the hundreds of packs I saved for Friday night and got junk out of the hundreds of packs I've opened since.
8 of my starting 11 are evo's 1 an sbc player and 2 pulls.
I've literally got a real past and present team and I can't pull these real cards.
And no I refute the idea of doing random player sbc's, the idea is to "Build your ultimate team" not build a team of random sbc players that we drip feed you.
Pretty much the same here. My 11 are all sbcs and evos. I've had nothing decent from packs. I've got about 300 packs to open in the store, but I just can't be arsed anymore. Even when the menus aren't slow, it takes way too much time to open them & sort through storage.

I can't lie I've gotten 4 big Ws from packs this year, but the thing is that none of them start, or are even players I wanted, with the exception of 1. Now that it's time to get the players I actually want to use, I either have no chance of getting them, or they seem to be nonexistent in packs.
Something about opening the game from a home screen showing some of the promo players, to get you 'excited' for the event, and in game pop-up messages telling you to 'jump in' and 'enjoy', and feeling like if you see them, it's off limits. And throughout the year, when you receive your first special card after a Friday, unless you check concept players or some other sources, you had no idea the item you received was even available. But then you either get no more specials, or you begin to see that unfamiliar face so often that they may as well be family. I even sometimes wish the screen wouldn't even change colors for duplicates, there's too much teasing and taunting.

I have been thinking these past few days how much I would like to disable all the promo splash screens that get shoved in my face from every part of the menu, I'm honestly starting to feel sick looking at them.
