Hi, Can anyone playing the ea fc 25 beta please let us know if restrictive matchmaking works in Online Seasons? If i pick a 4 star team, will the game give me games with 5 star teams like Man City, ...

@martinhoAlonso do update if restrictive matchmaking works when you try out the 10 hours with EA Play, since all the EA moderators here are rude and completely useless

Third Match
Leeds Vs Newcastle 3.5 Vs 4.5 also added issue we were both playing in white

@martinhoAlonso thats the ps5 equivalent? i heard the restrictive matchmaking on ps5/xbox series isn’t working. absolute joke.
can only hope ps4/xbox one works.
@dazzelecloudy i found not too fair personaly. 3,5 vs 4,5 isn’t very equal, but it’s better than real, city, France…
you’re right, we have to see with 4 star teams and see if we play versus 5 stars
- @martinhoAlonso i think 3.5 v 4.5 is far better than 4 v 5. especially if it is the lower end 4.5 stars like newcastle. if it is a high 4.5 star team like napoli vs leeds, that’s a greater problem.
Is there a filter (which is working) to use only manual passing in seasons mode?
@dazzelecloudy I think there should be not more than 0,5 star difference. 1 is too for much for me.
example: 4 vs 5 is unfair. 4 vs 4.5 is playable
@GabyBatistuta yes it is working, but you ‘re forcing the opponent to play manual too
100% agree.
If restrictive is on, then it should be limited to 0.5*. If it's off, 1* is fine.

Would be good to get some traction on it (like we had with the 300+ posts on my thread from last year).
EA did acknowledge it last year, but then stopped replying.There's got to be other ways to raise issues hasn't there, other than just on here?
Definitely doesn’t work. I saw some games on YouTube, galatasaray vs bayern, al hilal vs city or real. Really shameful. Bye EA Fc 25, won’t buy it
@martinhoAlonso i tried it out with EA Play. PS5 version - Real Madrid non bloody stop. what is so difficult about switching on restrictive matchmaking? bloody idiots
@dazzelecloudy yes. It will be the same this year. No reason to Buy fc25, will stay on 24 if there is the same problem. Disgusting
So what can we do to get EA to engage with us?
We know the community managers have seen the threads. They even passed on the feedback last year.

Had a few more goes played as Man City and got Real Madrid, played as Real Madrid and got Real Madrid. Never know might be better next week. Times I've played not seen more than 3200 playing online
@thurlow885 let’s face it - EA is a decrepit company who refuse to do the basics for seasons players. a bunch of morons who think it is okay for 3.5 star teams to play real madrid/man city non-stop and ignore feedback from the ground. such an easy step to turn on restrictive matchmaking and nope they cannot do it. utter clowns. same goes for the ea moderators here. all clowns. ask a UT question and you get a response straightaway. ask about seasons? treat us like invisible. unethical pieces of crap
- @stayloa the community managers are here to answer UT questions. seasons do not exist in their eyes. they try to ban seasons players if you tag more than one of them. hahahaha. they are absolute jokes who want us to pay 90 euros to play real madrid not bloody stop!
Well so far playing as Chelsea, I have come up against Galy, Sporting Lisbon, Juventus, Aston Villa, Altecic, Ali.
No Bayern, Madrid, City etc...
Restrictive on, Match my settings, club type all on etc...
I do the 3-5 second search then stop and start again. Obviously right now there isn't a huge number with the game, trial etc... so not as many online yet compared to EAFC24 currently.
So it's weird. Tbh I would not care playing as Chelsea coming up against Madrid and co now and again. But all the time would get annoying of course. But that hasn't been the case so far.
So, perhaps something else is at play here and depending on location and radius so have lesser options with the star they have chosen and EAs algorithms are to at best find an opponent after a search so you get a match. Beyond that I haven't been paired with a 5 star yet at a 4.5 club.
