Seasons gone bad

I have same issue, my players always running, turning and passing way slower than opponents. I always get tackled from behind and I can't do the same cuz my players either run in wrong direction or are too slow. I'm  always in disadvantage cuz my players are so slow.  And can't get out of div 9, and I don't play ultimate team, cuz I know I'd be stuck with bronze team, cuz of all of the injuries and stuff.
