The day I quit FC25 after playing since FIFA 95!

Hello every FC25 player out there,

I have played this game series for 30 years now and have slowly watched the decline of this game and the company EA. This game used to bring people joy, good times and connect people. Now it's just making people angry, frustrated and sucking people in that are addicted to gambling. EA have suffered from being to greedy and not having any competition. 

I will here highlight the main problems as I see them, and I won't be returning to this game until they are fixed. For context I usually finish rank 2 in WL and play on Playstation 5.

Things that need to be fixed before i return:

Gameplay:

• The horrible servers. Gameplay is so sluggish and feels so slow. It's also incredibly uneven and when I enter a match i'm not that worried about the opponent but more about lag, RNG and other things I can't effect. This is the only game I play where the servers are this bad. I have 1 gbit up and down, all other games are silky smooth.
• The menus. Several time every session I get stuck somewhere and have to restart the game. How can this be a problem on a yearly release? This is the only game I have these menu problems in.
• All the stupid mechanics that people can abuse. Remove the ones below.
• The super stupid trivelas. These has to be nerfed ASAP. Just pass the ball up and I use the trivelas and can finish rank 2, hardly any skill involved. 
• The stupid L1 speed boosting. I just do it over and over and over and sooner or later it works. I really don't want to play like this but you have to if you want to win.
• Players being able to get the ball and keep running straight forward. I should not be forced to release R2 if I just want to go in a straight line. 
• Remove playstyles all together. I can't believe some people defend this stupid mechanic, just a cash grab from EA. My player can't intercept a ball without interception playstyle. My players can't make a tackle and retain the ball without anticipate. My players can't shoot a good finesse shot without this playstyle. It's just so bad, and it removes skill from the game and implements PTW mechanics. 
• Remove roles, even more stupid then playstyles. Another cash grab from EA that forces us to not use the players the way we want to use them.
• Make defending better and boosted when manually controlled and make it weaker when just sitting with your CDM's and doing nothing.
• Make the attacking AI smarter but make sure that you can counter this with manual defending.
• Remove all the bouncing RNG effects. Impossible to calculate where a ball is going.
• Overall make the game predictable and skill based. The other day I described FC to a mate that was smart enought to quit last year. I told him it's like playing Fall Guys, Truck simulator and a pinball machine all at the same time. 
• Go back to a system where I have to link leagues and nation but can play the players in different formations in game.

Ultimate team:

• The never ending cycle of promos, rewards and so on. EA are trying to fix this by pumping out more and more packs with worse and worse odds. I've come to the point where packs just sit in my club, I can't be bothered opening them since I've only got one pull all year that actually went into my starting eleven (after the first week). It's just pointless busy work.
• Greatly increase pack odds but give out a  lot less packs. This would make every pack feel super special and would probably greatly increase the feeling of reward for playing and actually increase the income from players. Right now I think there only income is people addicted to gambling, very sad.
• Go back to a system where I have to link leagues and nation but can play the players in different formations in game.

These are just the tip of the iceberg regarding all the problems with this game. I really hope they go back and start over with a whole new game. Right now they are just adding layers to an already broken product and they have been doing this for many years. This means the product just gets more and more broken and they can no longer fix it. It's like an onion, if all the players are complaining about the inner layer, they can't fix it because they would ruin something else. They will have to make a fresh restart but i'm guessing the people at the top will never allow them to do that. My guess is that this game will have to get to a state where they keep losing money before the bosses makes a good call, or they might just cancel it all together.

I hope that more of you quit this game to show that this is such a bad product and hope that you get the same nice feeling as I have making the decision! 

I would recommend EA to make it possible to put your E-mail in and get the to contact people when they have fixed the game, they are losing so many players by the day and it's hurting there finances badly. So they will have to start caring and trying to fix the game sooner or later, the problem will be getting consumers to come back, it might be to little to late.
