The Disaster That Is EA FC 25
I am writing this letter in utter frustration and disappointment over what EA has dared to release as EA FC 25. Frankly, it’s an absolute disgrace to call this a “game.” This latest installment doesn’t just fall short of expectations—it annihilates the reputation that EA Sports has worked decades to build. The experience is nothing short of agonizing, and it feels like a complete insult to the players who put their trust in this brand year after year.
There’s a point where frustration turns into pure disbelief, and EA FC 25 has crossed that line. Imagine the hours spent reading an opponent’s moves, anticipating their strategy, and then, by some random act of the game’s absurd mechanics, you lose possession, your passes go astray, or your players seem to move without any logic. This isn’t just a minor oversight—it’s a betrayal of basic gameplay integrity. It’s almost as if EA deliberately designed the game to disregard player skill, rendering any attempts at strategy and foresight utterly pointless.
It’s shameful that this game was allowed to go to market in its current state. The issues go beyond simple bugs or glitches; they reveal a complete lack of understanding or, worse, disregard for the gameplay experience that FIFA players expect. To put it bluntly, this is by far the worst game in the history of the EA Sports franchise. The developers who thought this was acceptable clearly have no respect for the loyal community they are supposed to serve. They need to be held accountable, and EA needs to start making serious changes—starting with reconsidering who is behind this game.
This release is an embarrassment, and if EA wants to salvage any remaining respect from its community, there need to be immediate improvements. Listen to your players, fire the people who allowed this travesty, and give us the game we deserve. Anything less will just prove that EA no longer cares about the players who made this brand what it is.
I sincerely hope to see a response to this catastrophe.
