I’ve been playing this evening since the new update release and I’m struggling to make my mind up whether it’s even a step in the right direction. On one hand it seems like they have addressed some of the issues in the game play and it’s does feel better, but I feel like it’s been done in an incredibly sloppy way. Scoring goals and attacking play has become more fluid and definitely been buffed, but it seems that defending has now gone down the drain. It seems almost that while EA have sorted certain issues out it’s now created a whole list of new ones.I think I’m going to give it this weekend but I’m starting to think this might be my last year buying EAFC until the gameplay is properly addressed. What’s others thoughts on the new update?

Absolutely brilliant if you know nothing about football the ai now fall over themselves, take half an hour to reach a ball 2 yards in front of them. Every shot is now virtually a goal, pace reduced so you can't cover the awful ai.But hey kids will enjoy not having to put any creativity into creating chances and will reach for daddy's wallet to buy more fantastic cards. Can't wait for an alternative to this cash cow which has now nothing to do with football.

It wasn't great before the update but the balance was better. The new update seems to have made the dribbling tighter, turns quicker, attack biased and the game generally feels unrealistic and arcady with no real fulfilment. Every goal seems lifeless. The game is worse now after putting in quite a few hours after the update. At least it was a grind and working hard to get goals just like in real football matches before with emphasis on defenses being hard to outdo but now the game is completely lifeless and unenjoyable.Think I'm done with it.

After the 8th update, the stabilization problems could not be fixed. During the match, in the cutscenes, in the crowded scenes, there is a sudden FPS drop. The game freezes. They could not fix this problem.

Not sure if you having same issues but the AI has gone mental kamikaze highly aggressive sliding tackles from every AI team resulting in red cards my last match they had 3 sent off just crazy 🤪

It's rubbish they ain't fixed anything sped up forwards slowed down defence that's it .We are still getting lag no response etc there saying it's your Internet connection well I play offline no Internet switched on so how am I getting the same issues as an online player it shouldn't effect it offline right ??

The game after the update doesn’t feel like it changed much, maybe just a few minor things. But overall, it’s still boring, especially on the New-Gen version.
As for the Old-Gen version, honestly, it’s really fun and almost perfect, except for a problem with the defense line.
Whenever I play the New-Gen version, I just find myself complaining and feeling like the game sucks. But ever since I switched to the Old-Gen version, it feels like the game we all know is still there.
I think the issue is caused by the HyperMotion and FC IQ technologies—they’re the ones ruining the game on the New-Gen version. That’s just my opinion.

Totally they destroy the game play after the latest updates..I played efootball before I like more the simulation gameplay not arcade and this year the ea make a good try to go to that road .I played fifa Long time a go and when I play this year I liked and I buyed but after period with updates they destroy the game .make it again and again arcade. The last update destroy the defence ,make shoots easy to score, more fast,easy dribbles why why why?pffff we don't have one simulation football game nowadays and I liked a lot this year when first come out fc 25 before the updates and totally the latest update is the worst
