Transferring from ps4 to ps5 with game bought on ps4

Hi ,  I wanted to know if I would be able to play fc25 if I buy the game on the playstation store on my ps4 and in the future buy a ps5 and play with my ps5? Basically , just going to play on my ps5...

I’m having an issue with the FC 25 Standard Edition on the PlayStation Store. The description for the game mentions that it includes both the PS4 and PS5 versions. However, above the title, only the PS5 icon is displayed, and it only allows me to download the PS5 version.

On the other hand, the Ultimate Edition shows the correct details and allows downloads for both versions. Standard edition also contains both versions, right?

Looking at the above article:

Dual Entitlement is available with the purchase of EA SPORTS FC™ 25—both Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition—at digital and physical stores

 

So it should have duel entitlement alright. It might just be a preload issue, but I'll keep my eyes open just in case.

      It's covered under the dual entitlement, so it should be fine. Just note that some physical stores also sell PS5-only packaged products which will be playable only on a PlayStation 5 console. But if you got it from the PlayStation store then you should be good.
