Update
What's the deal with the update? Do I have to pay to upgrade to where I can play online?

Servers are just **bleep**. It's always the same answer. If you've got a wired controller, your ISP is good, and you have an ethernet cable plugged into your PC/console, the servers are just **bleep**ting the bed. EA will not fix it. They either don't know how, or won't.
