When 90 minutes is up...

EA when 90 minutes, plus injury time is completed the final while will blow in football.

Please advise when this will be fixed in EA FC 25.

There seems to be a bug in the game whereby if a team keeps the ball, injury time can exceed the allotted time - significantly.  Sometimes by over a minute- sometimes by 3 minutes. Despite no extra stoppages occurring since the flagging of the injury/added time.

Can we get an ETA when this will be resolved?

    Hello ballist1x

If you want the time to stop for sure, you have to throw the ball out of play. If you are still under pressure and you can't clear the ball outside the 25 meter line, the play goes on. It's not a bug.

However if despite throwing the ball out of play, the match goes on, share a video or a screenshot so we can pass it on to the team.

  • Are you saying that time extension is a feature based upon possession?

Is this the official EA position?

In football the referee does not blow the whistle when the ball goes out of play, but when the time expires,  allowing for injury/added time?

I know you can code it because Rush mode time management works.

    ballist1x ,

This rule applies to all FIFA and FC games for a long as I can remember. This rule is actually good in my opinion because you would have instances where you get a 1v1 against the keeper and the ref would blow the whistle just before the ball cross the line.

It wouldn't make much sense to interrupt a big chance just because of a strict clock.

I haven't seen many complains about this rule before but it's still good feedback. 😉

There have been complaints about 45th and 90th minute goals for a long time. The ever lasting clock is a primary contributing factor.

It may not make sense as an attacker but it might make sense as the defender.

I can understand a leeway of a few seconds but not when a clock can run to the 94th minute when the added time was only +1 minute, then it stands to reason that this can contribute to frustration as neither player actually knows when the game will end.
