Community ManagerThis rule applies to all FIFA and FC games for a long as I can remember. This rule is actually good in my opinion because you would have instances where you get a 1v1 against the keeper and the ref would blow the whistle just before the ball cross the line.
It wouldn't make much sense to interrupt a big chance just because of a strict clock.
I haven't seen many complains about this rule before but it's still good feedback. 😉
There have been complaints about 45th and 90th minute goals for a long time. The ever lasting clock is a primary contributing factor.
It may not make sense as an attacker but it might make sense as the defender.
I can understand a leeway of a few seconds but not when a clock can run to the 94th minute when the added time was only +1 minute, then it stands to reason that this can contribute to frustration as neither player actually knows when the game will end.
