I think it seems even faster in ultimate team online. Right now everyone is going for 99 pace players. I mean pace was the most important stat before but it’s much worse now. Add to the fact that offense isn’t manual so it makes ping pong passing even worse. Games are also unrealistic score feasts.
I don’t know why people even want it even faster. Just a few years ago people didn’t like having fullbacks at cb and attackers at midfield because of pace. Then again it was more that they couldn’t pace past the defense then pace being a problem. Ea tried to add accelerate so defenders could actually keep up with attackers like in real life but people just don’t want it sadly.
