Your custom leagues and tournaments system in FC needs a serious overhaul

Dear EA Sports FC developers,

For years, I’ve been creating my own leagues and tournaments in EA FC (formerly FIFA). I’ve built a complete football universe: 4 league tiers, fictional clubs with full histories, promotions, relegations, playoffs, and even an international tournament – my own version of the Champions League. And I know I’m not alone. The community of players who build “fictional leagues” is growing every year.

But we keep hitting the same roadblocks:

1. No support for running league + cup in one save – you can’t combine domestic league play with a national cup or league cup without manually juggling multiple saves.
2. Limited tournament structure options – you’re stuck with 16, 32 or 64 teams. No control over the bracket, seeding or draw logic.
3. No advanced league format customization – no playoffs, no championship/relegation rounds, no editable matchday count, no split leagues.
4. No option for international competitions – imagine how powerful it would be to simulate a Champions League-style tournament based on league results.

Just imagine the possibilities if you gave us deeper control. The creative potential is massive.

This is a call from players who don’t chase Mbappé in Career Mode, but instead create something deeper — a fictional football world with real emotion, structure, and long-term meaning.

EA, give us the tools — and we’ll do the rest.
