This game is a disgrace.
First of all, FC 25 is an absolute disgrace. EA only cares about microtransactions and Ultimate Team packs, and they leave everything else behind. They don’t care about making a good game anymore, just about draining money from the community. And this isn’t just FC 25, it happens with almost every EA game: they’re mediocre, repetitive, and made without passion.
Now, about the game itself: the gameplay is a total disaster. Shooting is laughable — even if you aim straight at the goal, the ball flies wide like the player doesn’t even know how to kick. Headers are even worse: you aim at the center of the goal, and the ball ends up anywhere but on target. Where’s the realism?
Career Mode is another scam. After just three seasons, it doesn’t matter if your players have 70, 80, or even 90 overall ratings — the game becomes unplayable. Players move completely inconsistently: one match they look like turtles, the next like sprinters, but always with horrible ball control. When you sprint, the ball shoots three meters ahead and you instantly lose it. That’s not football, that’s a joke.
Dribbling is another nightmare. Movements are slow, clunky, and useless. And the passing system? Honestly, this is the worst passing I’ve ever seen in any FIFA/FC game. You pass to one teammate, and the ball magically goes to whoever the game decides. Building a proper play is impossible.
And don’t get me started on the defense. You can be behind a defender, and somehow they just stick their leg backward and steal the ball, without even looking. It makes no sense.
In conclusion, this is the worst FIFA/FC EA has ever released. Sure, the graphics might look decent, but gameplay-wise, it’s trash. They’ve ruined Career Mode, they’ve ruined the overall experience, and the only thing they care about is squeezing every penny with microtransactions. EA doesn’t listen, they don’t improve anything, and honestly, this is the lowest point in the entire series.
One of the biggest flaws in Career Mode in FC 25 is that after just 2 or 3 seasons, matches become practically unplayable. It feels like the game switches into some kind of “turbo mode,” where everything is sped up unnaturally, as if the players are stuck on x2 or even x5 speed.
This usually happens once your players start reaching higher overall ratings. It doesn’t matter if it’s a young talent growing fast or an established star — once they hit 80, 85, or 90 overall, the gameplay completely breaks. Instead of feeling more realistic, matches turn into pure chaos.
Players move unnaturally: sometimes sluggish and heavy, then suddenly bursting forward like rockets — but always with horrible ball control. Whenever you sprint, the ball pushes three or four meters ahead, making it ridiculously easy to lose possession. Dribbling becomes clumsy, passing is inaccurate, and the opponents play with inhuman precision. Their defenders feel like robots: they anticipate every move and cut off passes with impossible animations, even if you’re behind them or far away.
This completely destroys the long-term Career Mode experience. It doesn’t matter how much effort you’ve put into building your squad, developing youth players, or signing top-class talent — once your players hit high ratings, the game becomes chaotic, unfair, and unenjoyable. And the worst part? This isn’t a one-off bug, it’s a structural flaw in the gameplay that makes every Career Mode project doomed to collapse after just a few seasons.
