1 WEEK AND NOT SOLVED ERROR ANTI CHEAT FROM CLOUD GAMING EA FC 25 ( SHADOW PC )

Shadow PC - Cloud Gaming PC 

After speaking with an EA agent and trying to resolve an issue regarding EA Anti-Cheat Security Violations, EA FC 25 blocked access to Shadow PC and other cloud gaming services.

I have been using the Shadow PC service for many years, and I started playing on it with FIFA 22 without ever having any issues related to this. I kindly ask EA to remember us because we

don't have enough money to invest in a decent PC to play, and we rely on your support for the community.

We are a community of over 25,000 members on the France Discord, and many users cannot play the game due to the restriction on virtual machines! I appreciate your help so we can continue

enjoying the game. /

Après avoir échangé avec un agent EA pour tenter de résoudre un problème lié aux violations de sécurité d'EA Anti-Cheat, l'accès à EA FC 25 a été bloqué pour Shadow PC et d'autres services de cloud gaming.

J'utilise le service Shadow PC depuis de nombreuses années, et j'ai commencé à jouer à FIFA 22 dessus sans jamais rencontrer de problèmes à ce sujet. Je demande gentiment à EA de

penser à nous, car nous n'avons pas les moyens d'investir dans un PC performant pour jouer.

this company literally just dont care if their game works anymore, even people that aren't playing on any cloud services are having issues with the anti cheat, and EA just dont care. its been two weeks since the anti cheat are having that problem and they haven't done anything but say lies, in the last ea fc 24 many had a problem with their controller and they didnt do anything, the rather swept the problems under the rug other than fixing them, THEY JUST DON'T CARE.

I'm using a shadow PC ( VM) and the anti cheat block me for 2 weeks. code error (137)

After today's update, I now have this error: Cannot run in a virtual machine. Please exit the virtual machine and try again. (142)

For a billion-dollar company, is this all you can do? I think it's time to move on to another game like UFL or eFootball, this company is a real joke...

I do not have this game. However, I have another game that uses (I assume) the same anti-cheat: Battlefield 2042. My rig is set up such that I run a Linux host with a Windows 10 virtual machine. The way it's set up, I've been able to achieve near-as-makes-no-difference native performance. Up until today, I had no issues loading into the game even after EA switched from Easy to their own in-house anti-cheat. Tried to play tonight and it's completely borked on my setup with the error message telling me to exit my VM and try again. Since I lack Windows on a host level, trying again is not an option.

I should iterate that I absolutely abhor the idea of cheating in multiplayer games to gain unfair advantages. Under no circumstances had I ever considered using this VM for such malicious purposes. But since EA's anti-cheat has now decided that I am a no-go for committing the heinous crime of using a virtual machine, this forces me to pick one of two options: wipe my PC and get Windows 11, or just convert my rig entirely to Linux, since Battlefield was quite literally the only reason I had Windows anymore. I am not going to get Windows 11. So, given that EA will not cater to Linux users, I have no choice but to cease playing Battlefield 2042 altogether.

It's a shame that it has come to this, but such is life. It was fun while it lasted, for what that's worth...
