Auto closing/crashing without error message

Been trying to see if this game is worth it through EA play and I've wasted 3 hours out of the allowed 10 trying to get the game just to work.  It constantly crashes closes it is the definition of unplayable.  I make a change, boot the game and sit at the menu to see if it doesn't crash and like clockwork after 5ish minutes the game just closes.  There is no  error, no CTD, no log generated in event viewer.  I don't even know if it's a crash or if something is auto closing the game.  This is absolutely unacceptable gauging how long these types of issues have existed on PC.

I've tried removing the overclock on my GPU

Run the game and EA app as administrator.

Added the trial and regular game exe to RTSS and forcibly disabled any way for the RTSS overlay to try to hook into the game.  Disabled EA in game overlay.  I have no other overlay software.

Running the game in windowed borderless with 90FPS lock via NVidia panel since apparently the refresh rate and limiter in game are broken according to multiple threads.  Have hair strands and raytracing OFF (have tried setting everything to low).

Reinstalled the game and EA anti cheat.  Verified/repaired game numerous times.

Added game to windows list of games and forcibly enabled high performance mode.  I know 100% the game is using my 4090 and not iGPU.

Pretty much I'm on the cusp of uninstalling as this is a joke how bad it is.

  • Same issue as well, but for basically any multiplayer EA game. Not sure what to do.

  • It's their trash anti cheat I think it's behaving the same way when CoD closes if you dare open procmon or wireshark, auto close with no error.  I don't know what their terrible crap flagged as I literally closed everything (openRGB, fancontrol etc) and it still does it, I also enabled TPM and Secure boot based off threads from 2 years ago and still nothing.

EA,  your software is embarrassingly bad.  You're a joke.

do you find any solution for this because i have the same problem

  • [I FOUND THE ANSWER]

Hi everyone, after several weeks of experiencing the same issues as you, I found a solution to stop Battlefield 6 and my EA launcher from closing on their own.

I was getting errors on EABackgroundService, so I simply created my own .bat file to fix it.

To put it simply, I saw that the EaBackgroundService service was closing on its own, which caused the launcher and the game to close.

SO, I invite you to put these lines of code in a .bat file. Once launched in admin mode, you can launch your EA Launcher (and your game).

    Here is the code:

    @echo off

    title EA FORCE LOOP

echo Monitoring active... Do not close.

    :loop

:: Force Manual mode if it switches to disabled

    sc config EABackgroundService start= demand >nul 2>&1

:: Restart immediately if it stops

    sc start EABackgroundService >nul 2>&1

:: No timeout here to be as fast as possible

    goto loop

    Hope this helps!
