Brightness Calibration

The brightness calibration issue is that despite the controller being properly connected and the game, TV, and console (PS4) working fine, I can't adjust the screen brightness as if the controller buttons aren't working. I've already tried literally all the settings on the console and TV, removed personal settings, and checked software and game updates, but nothing helped. I've heard that many people had this issue, please help!
