Lag after a few games is often caused by overheating or memory leaks. Try lowering graphics settings, closing background apps, and cleaning your device’s cache. Also, make sure your drivers are updated. For smoother gameplay, a stable FPS is key—just like in Subway Surfers, where consistent performance helps with Tips & Tricks to Score Higher in Subway Surfers, like timing jumps and avoiding unnecessary stutters. If the lag persists, check for game or system updates.

Lag that gets worse after a few matches on a gaming laptop usually points to overheating or memory leaks rather than just FPS settings. Try monitoring your temps (CPU & GPU) with something like MSI Afterburner while you play—if they spike and then your FPS tanks, you’re probably thermal throttling and need to clean vents, raise the laptop, or lower graphics/turn off unnecessary background apps. Also set Windows to High Performance, cap your FPS in-game (for example 60 instead of unlimited), and update your GPU drivers so the game doesn’t slowly eat more resources each match. If it still stutters, verify the game files and try disabling overlays (Discord, Xbox Game Bar, etc.), as those can cause hitching over time. Treat it like following a detailed erome guide or any step-by-step troubleshooting walkthrough: go through each tweak one by one, test a few games, and you’ll usually spot which change fixes the lag.

This kind of lag after a few matches usually points to thermal throttling or background resource issues, especially on gaming laptops.
A few things that helped me personally:
- Cap FPS to a stable value instead of unlimited
- Monitor CPU and GPU temperatures while playing
- Close overlays like Discord and Xbox Game Bar
- Update GPU drivers and use High Performance modeFPS stability matters more than high settings. I noticed smoother performance testing lightweight games on SubwaySurferApkZone, which helped me understand how consistent frame pacing improves gameplay.
Hope this helps. Try one change at a time and test a few matches.

I actually faced a similar issue before where the game started lagging badly after a few matches and the FPS would suddenly drop. In my case the problem happened when I installed Subway Surfer from an unsafe or random source. The files were not optimized and after a few games the performance became really unstable.
Later I found a better and more reliable source and after installing the game from there the gameplay became much smoother and the lag problem stopped. If you are facing the same issue, you can try downloading it from here and see if it works better for you:

After installing from a proper source the game usually runs much smoother and you can enjoy better performance on your mobile or device.
