Can’t Access Ultimate Team on PS4 – “Newer Generation System” Error
Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with EA SPORTS FC 25 on my PS4.
Every time I try to access Ultimate Team, I get this message:
"Please note that you can only play Football Ultimate Team on one device at a time. Your UT session on this system has been closed, as you are already playing on a newer generation system."
This is strange because:
- I’m only using a **PS4**.
- I **logged out of all devices** via my EA account.
- I restarted the console, deleted saved data, and even changed my EA password – but nothing helps.
- I’ve never played this game on PS5 recently, and no one else has access to my account.
I contacted EA Help, but they sent a generic message about a “server issue,” which doesn’t seem to apply here.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to reset the session or unlink the newer-gen flag from my account?
