Can't play EA FC 25 with Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on PC

I pre-ordered the game and have been waiting for a week for this to be fixed. I know a lot of people don't use a Pro Controller but I don't understand why this is a problem, I was able to play FC 24 without a problem. Please fix this. I didn't refund because I thought this would be fixed quickly since so many people with different controllers are still having problems.
Please sort this out. I paid more and I can't play.

  • I also have this issue.  Quite frankly it beggars believe that an established games producer can be so bad.

Tried all sorts of tips - I could move around the menus with my controller but I could never Ready Up. Indeed for some

reason there was a Player 5 marked as keyboard but which moved to the left right side linked to the controller and then randomly Readied Up but I’ve no idea how. No buttons could replicate this. Still not managed to start a game with controller

  • Worked fine on fc24, same setup. Controller can move in menu but all icons are for keyboard/mouse, game doesn't recognize the controller is plugged in.

  • HI,

don't know if i solved the issue and now i can play with the nintendo pro controller.

I'm using STEAM and previously configured the controller on it.

Turn off the controller or disconnect the cable.

    Run FC25

At the setting page (when the game ask you to load your saved settings), connect the controller WITH THE CABLE to PC.

Start using ONLY the controller, do not click anywhere or use keyboard.

It should be fine from now on... or at least, it's working for me.

That said, the pro controller isn't the best option to play FC25 ... i can see the difference with other better controller (even microsoft ones); but if you got nothing better ... :D
