Child Verification Error

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help here.  My son was using FC25 (previously FC24) without issue, but now when he starts the game he gets a screen saying "A parent or guardian needs to verify your account".  When he clicks "Start Verification", it says "You have lost your online connection. Check your home network. You will not be able to access FC's online features until you can reconnect to EA servers. Go to ea.com/unable-to-connect to find out more".

It goes around in this loop forever and there doesn't seem to be any way to get beyond it.  Does anyone know a fix?  Would be much appreciated.
