Connecting to ultimate team not possible at the moment

Same issue, started playing yesterday. Everything was fine. Since today's morning it's not possible to log into Ultimate Team.

Club rush works fine.

i also got banned just now and i even did not get a chance to play a match today due to the bad server.

Same problem, already restarted my router, checked for errors on the game, loged off and back in on EA App nothing fixes it, can only get in for maybe 2 minutes and get kicked with the error.

We can't even play ultimate team after the update. It broke more than it fixed.

What does this mean i have to wait?

Hey EA!  Fix your *@#$!!

I don't think it was even the last update. Connection issues started appearing an hour or two before the update so I'm pretty sure it's EA's infamously awful servers.

EDIT : Downdetector shows a massive spike in complaints around 7:30am UK time

I got the same error, i usually play career mode from FIFA 18-25, but now I started to play Ultimate Team and I got "Ultimate Team is Not Possible At The Moment" Is this because the server is down or is it something else? It really ruined my first time experience trying to enjoy the game.
