Consistent Crashes FC25
Hi, I’m experiencing consistent crashes mid-match in EA Sports FC25 on a high-end PC. The game usually starts fine, but crashes after some gameplay — often during or just after a match begins.
My specs:
- CPU: Intel i9-14900K
- GPU: MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
- RAM: 32 GB DDR5
- OS: Windows 11 (fresh install, fully updated)
- Driver: NVIDIA Game Ready 572.70 (clean install via DDU)
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Fresh Windows 11 install — no leftover files or bloat
- Used DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers
- Installed stable NVIDIA driver (572.70) with clean install
- Forced DirectX 11 mode with -dx11 launch option
- Applied TDR registry fix (TdrDelay=10, TdrDdiDelay=20)
- Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat as admin
- Disabled overlays (EA, Steam, NVIDIA, Discord)
- Set in-game graphics to Medium, turned off Ray Tracing, DLSS, and cutscenes
- Capped FPS to 120 via NVIDIA Control Panel
- Monitored temps and voltages — everything is stable and within safe limits
- Other games like Fortnite also require DirectX 11 to avoid crashing
The game still crashes, sometimes after one match, sometimes mid-game. There’s no error prompt — just an instant crash to desktop.
At this point, I need help from EA devs or tech support. I’m not the only one with a 40-series card seeing this behavior — it seems specific to certain GPU-driver-game combinations.
Please escalate or offer deeper debugging support — I’ve tried everything I can on my end.
Thank you.
