controller not working after update

last night i played a lot and the controller worked just fine. right now i opened the game after the update was finished and now the controller doesnt work anymore,not even in the menus. i got the game on ea and i got a ps4 controller,and im sure its a game problem because the controller worked and still works perfectly fine but after the update it stopped working.
