EA and PSN stole 20 dollars from me

I purchased two separate fc points on the PSN 4 store. Never got em. I contacted PSN to request for help, they did not do anything and sent me to EA. I contacted EA, and because I could not provide a picture of the service list, because, lo and behold, the purchase was not in-game. I was bounced from one site to another with no assistance. Point is this: PSN took 20 dollars from me, did not provide me the service, and then I was bounced between both companies WITH OUT GETTING WHAT I PAID FOR. Beware of these scams and the terrible costume support these companies have. They will not help  you.

  • Hey, sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, I don’t have any help to offer, but am posting because I 100% support your end conclusion:  Don’t give these guys your MONEY.

Personally, I’ve never purchased FC points, but I’ve had enough issues with this game and a poor enough experience in these forums (where EA consistently fails to be of any real assistance) that I have vowed never to give them more of my money. The cost of purchasing FC25 is sunk and I would be happy to see EA do a 180 and suddenly get serious about improving the user experience, but I just haven’t seen any evidence that they intend to do so. On top of all of this I read someone claiming to be a former employee allege that the packs are rigged to give users who “pay to play” (i.e., who purchase FC points) poorer drop rates for top players. I would have dismissed this as pure conspiracy theory, but it didn’t seem wholly out of the realm of possibility in light of the way EA treats its customers in here (with a not-so-veiled sense of contempt).
