EA APP/ EA FC no longer recognising my controller anyone else??? PC

EA APP is  no longer recognising my controller since new update! 

I have tried everything from turning on/off in game overlays - disabling steam inputs after EA app /fc as a non steam game. - I have even uninstalled steam and still getting no results from this. Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to fix this?

If UI disable steam  Inputs EA will not pick up my ps4 controller - however if it is enabled it works but all the key binds are all over the place making the game un playable.

Been an issue for 2 weeks and can not get any assistance from EA to help Any ideas at all?

    I'm having the same problem with my elite controller on pc steam ☹️

    same here logged on today, changed absolutely nothing and now my controller doesn't work again. Guess its back to not playing like in september 🙂

    @Stodger7 yep exactly what happened needed one more point for rival rewards on Thursday arvo jumped on and couldn't do anything. I never changed anythin either. I am assuming we just have to wait until the next ea app/fc update.

    Yeah it's quite annoying especially since it's the start of the new season. I doubt we will hear anything on here as very little was said in September when seemingly a lot more people were affected. I'm gonna try a fresh install of windows to see if that works.

    I have done fresh install of windows. Even upgraded to windows 11 and it still doesn't work lol.

    My old broken Xbox controller now registers the correct inputs now though. Which it didn't before wiping my pc so that is something at least.

    It happens same to me. Tried everything about enable/disable steam inputs and EA overlay what used to be a solution in October. I use generic controller and it works on every other game on PC, and it worked on EA FC 24. 
    And the worse part is that now controller is not even recognised, only keyboard and mouse, and even with that stuttering happens and in Division rivals I lose control of players, they start running straight of the pitch and I can not defend.

    Please fix this EA.

    The only thing I have got to work is using an old Xbox controller but obviously that isn't ideal if you don't have one
