EAFC25 on PS5 - Need Advice

I've reached the end of my rope. I've been unable to log into my EA account on my ps5 for about a week. I can't play EAFC25 and no one at EA (if there actually is anyone at EA) seems able and/or willing to help me. I've contacted support a couple times and the bot (I'm sure it's a bot) tries to get me to remove MFA on my account, not assist me with logging in. They've marked my case as fixed even though they've done nothing to help me. I went so far as to download and install the PS4 version on my PS5 since I bought the version wiith dual entitlement. I'm able to log in and that version works fine. I'm including my last chat with the EA bot (sorry, I know it's long). It hung up on me after I caught it trying to get me to remove MFA on my account. If anyone out there can give me some advice, I would really appreciate it.

( 16m 17s ) Visitor: No. It is saying the security code is invalid when I enter it from my mobile app authenticator.

So even a but confused over this situation,

( 37m 56s ) Ajay: This is what you'll need to do that from your end. By disabling the login verification and wait for half an hour.

( 41m 6s ) Visitor: I already have two factor enabled. The mobile app authenticator works fine on other devices.

( 42m 39s ) Ajay: So you can do that opposite by navigating it. As it link only for the reference to navigation the options.

( 43m 54s ) Ajay: Go to the Security and Privacy tab of your EA Account portal.

Find Two-factor authentication and select the right arrow (>).

Select Turn On.

So instead of turn on you can choose what option are showing to turn off.

  • I had login issues over the weekend. Nothing you can do. Get the weirdest log out notifications and errors. Sometimes could get in. Mostly couldn’t. When in.. won a game but didn’t settle it with the server and kicked me out. 
    Horrible man. I feel you. Nothing we can really do. 
    On Monday, yesterday, it was fixed all of a sudden. No issues at all anymore. 

    Hope yours clears up too.
