Hey everyone,Last year, I purchased FC24 from the EA app, but it didn't work properly on my PC. The refresh rate was locked at 60Hz even though my laptop supports 240Hz. There was also significant lag, and overall, the game felt poorly optimized for my system. Despite this, I decided to pre-order FC25, hoping the issues would be fixed. However, I’m facing the same problems – the refresh rate is still locked, and there’s a huge amount of lag.Recently, I logged into FC24 and noticed that it now runs smoothly with no lag and seems optimized as the season progressed. I’ve already refunded FC25 and won’t consider buying it again until there’s a solution to this issue. My laptop specs are:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750HNVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070Windows 11If anyone has any fixes or advice, I would really appreciate it. I really want to enjoy the game without these problems. If you prefer to modify the settings through the ini file, you can find the folder in your system at:C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 25

@ananachoo I’m having the same problem I don’t know why they never fix these type of issues but they are first to remove a glitch on UT

so to fix it u have to go to the app data to do that use this vid https://youtu.be/1i3yNVUTV20 . u will find a doc called fc set up delete it and dtart the game worked for me laast year and this year. and if the vid doesnt lead u to the folder as it did with me open Run, type "%appdata%", press Enter, and select "AppData" in the address bar.

@ahmedoba Deleting the file just sets all the settings to "Low". Not of any help. Obviously you get good fps on low graphics

I think I found the solution. Download Custom Resolution Utility 1.5.2 (CRU) and make custom resolution for you screen. For FC25 I use 120hz and 144hz.

Ur screen refresh rate is set to 144 in advanced display settings cause if not i think fc locks it, at me it's working perfectly fine on 144.

Hello guys,
I've tried many things to solve the problem where FC25 refresh rate is locked to 60hz, even by changing the rate in fcsetup.ini.

In fact, the game FC 25 doesn't support more than 144 Hz. So THAT'S EXPLAIN WHY THE GAME IS LOCKED TO 60HZ.

So if your screen is using, for my exemple, 165Hz, it will not work.
You need to use personalized dispaly configuration in nVIDIA.
After that, just set 144Hz in the fcsetup.ini and reload your game.
I hope this will help a lot of you.
