FC25 crashes at splash screen

Our FC25 keeps crashing at the startup splash screen. It gives a message that something has occurred and gives the option to send a report. Done this several times. 

also followed the steps that that screen advised in:

- searched for updates

- booted in safe mode and cleared cached and rebuilt database

- delete the game be reinstalled it

I don’t think it’s a system error because we can start it with another user on PS5. Something with that users save data? It’s my sons profile that won’t start and he’s put a lot of effort into his FC25 save data…

any suggestions on what to do?
