fc25 players disappear when you quick sell consumables

FC25 - why is it that players also disappear when you quick sell duplicate consumables.  I had 4 consumables to "dispose" of and the white bar said quick sell 4 items.  did that and the duplicate players below also went.  i had wanted to send them to sbc storage.  not a biggie but annoyaing and they could have been useful
