I have been crashing out for a while now. I have a PS5 Pro, wired connection, a high-end gaming monitor with 0.5ms response time, and still the gameplay is a rollercoaster. 80-85% of the time, FC25 is absolutely unplayable, the input lag is so bad that I can’t even climb back to Div 3 where I used to be. Because of that, I’m stuck with players from Div 6. The skill difference is compensated by the input lag—it doesn’t matter how you play because, for instance, by the time the pass animation starts, your teammate has already made a run behind opponent’s defense. As a result, a 0.5-1s delay is horrendously affecting the game experience. I played every FIFA game starting with 12, and I skipped FC24, I genuinely expected more of FC25, I really thought I was missing out. Turned out I was wrong, I’m now just wasting my nerve cells on a subpar football simulator. For reference, I live in Los Angeles, I already checked that EA has server/s here, so that’s sorted out as a reason.
